In 2010, Smits Funeral Home in Dyer, Indiana began serving northwest Indiana and parts of neighboring Illinois. Well-equipped with modern facilities, our three spacious chapels can be combined to provide one large chapel accommodating up to 250 visitors. Our bright and comfortable lounge can serve as a luncheon room, too, with beautiful tables and chairs, full-sized refrigerator, sink, and counter space. Of course, the chapels, lounge, and restrooms are fully accessible for people with disabilities. Ample parking and a covered entry drive also afford visitors easy access to our lobby.
